We are off to a great start of the school year! We had some nervous 7th graders and cool incoming 8th graders. We encourage your continued involvement of your middle schooler's educational success. At a time when children want to create independence for themselves, they still need adults to guide them. I will be hosting an informational meeting for parents new to La Vista Middle School on Tuesday, September 8 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the Multi-purpose Room (MPR) .

We are looking for parents representatives for teams like School Site Council  (SSC) and English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC). We also invite parent support like volunteering for field trips and participating in parent workshops. Our work with parents is essential for our students' success.
